We are excited to announce our upcoming participation in the 2013 VilCap/VentureWell – Louisville Agriculture and Cleantech Accelerator program, a sustainable energy and agriculture business competition in Louisville, Kentucky.
This competition is seeking the next generation of enterprises focused on technology-driven solutions to the country’s most pressing agriculture and energy issues.
We have partnered with Village Capital and VentureWell to sponsor the competition. Like Sustainable America, Village Capital and VentureWell seek to find, evaluate and fund derserving early-stage businesses that focus on sustainability. Sustainable America believes in the power of markets and entrepreneurs to affect positive change.
Do you have an innovation in energy or agriculture that will change the world?
We encourage you to apply if:
- You have a commercially scalable technology invention delivering impact
- Are working in one (or more) of the following verticals:
- Agriculture, including agribusiness local/sustainable food, and supply chains

Selected ventures will participate in an outcome-based accelerator (18 winning programs in 6 countries to date), present to leading investors, and be mentored by industry leaders and their peers.
